Meanwhile, Shilpa has not shared anything similar on her social media. Raj’s post came days after the trailer of his debut film, UT69, was unveiled. Raj will play the lead role in the film, which revolves around his jail time.

Raj Kundra was arrested in July 2021 in an alleged pornography-related case and lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail. It was one of the biggest controversies of the year. He was released from jail in September of that year after spending about two months on bail by a metropolitan prosecutor. She was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Information Technology Act and the Improper Representation of Women (Prevention) Act.

Raj, who has always believed to be involved in the case, is said to be sharing his side of the story through his film. UT69 will hit theaters on November 3.

Talking about his film, Raj recently revealed how Shilpa reacted when she told him about her film idea. He told News18, I told him that I have a script and I am waiting for his answer. When I turned away from him, a flying shepherd appeared in front of my face. I think he thought the idea was a little vague at first. Maybe he thought that the film would not be made.
